Business Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Analyze historical member spend data and compares to contract pricing.
  • Cleanse large data sets and analyze supplier pricing.
  • Analyze member spend on an ad hoc basis.
  • Assist in maintaining Access and Azure SQL databases
  • Assist in analysis of RFP/RFQ data from category sourcing efforts.
  • Research and analyze surrounding new member acquisitions.
  • Build RFPs/RFQs.
  • Direct member interaction and analysis presentations.
  • Participate in category expansion opportunity identification.
  • Benchmark metrics for new members to review.
  • Audit contracts to confirm agreement terms.
  • Generate cost, savings, spend, and value reports.
  • Aid in program implementation efforts

Requirements

  • BA degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Statistics, IT, Engineering, Supply Chain or related
  • 1+ years in business with data analytics experience a plus
  • Any industry is relevant, preferably, Distribution, Manufacturing, Professional Services, or Supply Chain Consulting industry experience.
  • Expert knowledge of Excel and Access along with skills in Power Point.
  • Experience with additional analytical tools a plus, including SQL, Microsoft Azure environment, Power BI, and web scraping
  • Ability to work independently, history of working independently a large plus.

    Location

    CoVest seeks a Business Analyst to be based in Cleveland, OH headquarters office. Hybrid work model options available.

    Reporting Relationship

    The position will report to the Managing Director.
